2 weeks left

I don't have any pictures to post, but wanted to check into my blog so people wouldn't stop reading. I can't believe there is only 2 weeks left of my summer. It really makes me sad. We have had such a great summer, I don't want it to end. This truly has been the best summer in a long time. I have got to spend a lot of time with my kids and just hanging out with them and Scott. I remember this time last year I was recovering from a hysterectomy and a "cancer" scare. I feel 100% better now than I did then. Although summer is over in a few weeks, we have a lot ahead of us. Next Thursday we are going to Port A with my parents and Mitzi and her family. I am so excited. I love the beach and my kids absolutely love it!! When we get back from there my sweet friend Jenise is coming to stay with us for a few nights. I am so excited about that because I havent seen her in about 5 or so years. When she leaves, my summer will be over. I am looking forward to this school year as I will be taking on a new job. I am still teaching at the same high school, which I love, but this year I will be coaching JV basketball. Yes 2 years is all I could stay off the court. I really am excited, but pray that the Lord will guide me to be a great mother, wife, teacher and coach. I don't want to take away from my family. Prestley is so excited about me coaching. She says everyday "Mom when can we go to the gym." I love that. For now I will close and next time I blog I promise to have some pictures. Take care and happy rest of the summer.

Golf Tournament #3

This was Prestley's 3rd tournament of her "career" and she gets better each time. She has two more this summer and she seems to be having a blast with it. This is the first thing she has really enjoyed doing and we don't have to make her go practice and play. She had her first meltdown on hole two and I am sure there will be manyh more before she is done with this golf business. Mommy and Daddy had to boost her up a little and then she was good to go for the remainder of the tournament.

I love how she is looking up at her daddy in this photo. She listens to everything he says on the golf course. She may not do everything he says, but she does listen.

Poor Bubba is not old enough, but he is so good at watching his big sister and rooting her on:)

Happy Anniversary!!!!!
Nine years ago today I married my amazing husband. He is such a great father, husband and friend. I couldn't ask for anything more. We have so much fun together. We laugh pretty much anytime we are together. I am not a real sappy person, but I do want to say how much I love him. It has been a great journey so far and I know that we will have many more years to share. Happy Anniversary Scott!!!!!

I love Summer!!!

I truly love summer. I enjoy being with my kids and husband. We are truly blessed to get to be off for at least 5 weeks together. Scott starts back to work this week so his summer is pretty much over, but I have 3 more weeks. That means a lot more days at Schlitterbahn and the pool with my kids.

I know these are a little late, but I wanted to post some pictures from Pryce's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. He had a blast and so did the adults.

Not a lot going on

I don't have a lot to blog about over the last two days. I have been in an awful bus training for the last two days. It is horrible. I will never complain about Teacher In Service ever again!!! I have been coaching for 8 years and never had to drive a bus, but this year they told me I had to do it. It is one of the hardest things I have ever done. The tests are hard!! Anyway enough of my complaining.
I have 4 weeks of summer left and it makes me very sad. It has totally flown by, but we have had a great summer. God has truly blessed our family this summer and I know he will continue bless us the next few weeks. We are going to the beach in two weeks so that will be our final hoorah before we go back. Hope you all are having a great week.

Happy Birthday Pryce

Happy 5th Birthday Pryce!!! I can't believe it. What a great day we have had so far. We are on our way out the door to enjoy a day on the lake with my sister's family. I can hardly believe it has already been 5 years since Pryce was born. Time really has flown. When Pryce woke up this morning he walked over to his dad and said "Hi daddy, I am five now and I am big." It was so sweet.
Here is a little about my BIG 5 yr old.
He loves baseball
He just learned to ride his bike without training wheels
He loves the water, especially Schlitterbahn
He smiles all the time and shows his big dimples
He is definitely a mama's boy, I don't know if that is a good or bad thing:)
He hates vegetables
He loves snacks
He is so in to Toy Story right now
He loves Skateboards and Justin Bieber songs
Hope you have a great Birthday big boy.
We love you so much

My Babies are growing up right before my eyes

Wow!!! How time flies. I know my mom always told me that when I was growing up, but I truly believe it now. Tomorrow is my baby boy's 5th birthday and Monday my little girl will be 8. Really??? It just seems like yesterday I found out I was pregnant with Prestley and now here she is going in to the 3rd grade. This year I will no longer have a daycare child, Pryce will begin Kindergarten:( Although it will be nice not to have to pay daycare each month, it makes me tear up just to think he will be starting "real" school.
Last night we had Prestley's birthday party because she felt that this year she was too old to share her party with her Bubba!! About 16 kids filled our house to play water games, jump on the trampoline and paint rocks. It was so much fun. After that was over the girls stayed for Presltey's first ever "Slumber Party". Wow.. 11 little girls ranging in age from 6-9. It was fun. No fighting, drama, crying or anything. Thank you Lord. My precious Mom and Sister stayed the night to help me keep them entertained and I owe them so much. Thank you so much!!! Monday will be Pryce's party at Chucke Cheese so that will be a lot easier. I will have a lot of pictures to post in the next couple of days.
Hope you all have a great weekend.

In Him,
Marsha
