Great Wolf Lodge

Our first outing this summer was going to Great Wolf Lodge with my family. Wow, I think I had more fun than my kids. If you haven't gone, make sure you plan it soon. What an amazing place.

Just waiting to go eat. Look how amazing this place is inside.

Going to eat. Papa and Dodes and my kids. Oh how we love them.

Papa and Dodes and all the grandkids. Thank you so much Papa and Dodes for taking us.

What a wonderful summer

I know it has been months since I have posted. I swore I was going to be better at blogging this summer and sure enough, I wasn't. I have a lot to catch up on. What an amazing summer we have had. This post will be only half of the summer because that is all I could fit. Scott and I are so blessed to be off together for 5 weeks of each summer. We are able to do a lot of fun things with our kiddos. This summer was the first year Prestley was able to go to Church Camp with me. She had the time of her life. I can't wait until the entire family gets to go back.
This first picture is my precious girl singing "Sanctuary" with her cabin at the talent show. The next two pictures are my two favorite girls from Burnet. Wish they could come live with me and play basketball for Canyon:)

The next set of pictures are from our Beach trip. We are blessed to have a group of friends who have children our kids age, so we decided to load up and go to the Beach. Now we have vowed to make this an annual summer trip. So fun.

My handsome boy on the beach. My brave girl. She loves to catch things at the beach.

My Hubby and I at Dinner. My two handsome men on the pier.

My family on the pier.

My kiddos had their birthdays in July. We didn't have a big party for each this year but we did have a family dinner with the grandparents and cousins.
Ages 6 and 9. How is this possible. I am so blessed. Love them.

Spring is finally here

This is what we have been doing a lot of lately. Traveling to different golf courses to watch Prestley play golf. For the past couple of months she has played in about 7 tournaments. I am loving watching her play, even though she gets frustrated and sad at times. I am sure we will be doing a lot more of this in the summer.

Spring break could have not come fast enough. We have had a blast, not really doing much just working around the house and hanging out. We did go to Enchanted Rock for one day and the kids loved climbing the "big Rock" I don't want to start back to school, but know the sooner we get started the sooner summer will be here.

Hope everyone had a good break and we will be blogging again soon.

Snow 2011

Well, my kids finally were able to see snow in New Braunfels. We have lived here for three years and haven't seen any. At 6:45 am Prestley came in our room dressed and ready for Friday at School and we were sleeping. Poor baby set her alarm and we forgot to turn it off when we received the call at 6 am that there was no school. She was ready for Friday donuts. She soon got over it and put her pajamas back on. We have had a great morning off of school. We are all still in our pajamas and have watched one movie so far.
These are pictures in front of our house. Not a lot of snow, but enough to excite my kiddos.

We have been very busy the last month. Prestley is taking golf lessons once a week and playing in several tournaments. She was second in her last tournament and received a big trophy. I love watching her play and be excited about something. Pryce isn't involved in anything right now, but soon will be playing t-ball. He broke his arm this week in two places so I pray that he will be okay to play. He has been waiting to play baseball for the last 3 years. Scott is busy with the budget for his school. We are anxiously awaiting what cuts he will have to make this year. He is stressing a little over all of the budget cuts. We know God will provide and take care of us. I am still busy with basketball. We are almost finished with district and our varsity will head into the play-offs. My JV hasn't won many games this year but I have enjoyed coaching these girls.
I hope you all are staying warm during this crazy Texas Weather.
In Him,
Marsha
